Must we grow?
Hey there,
It's our first newsletter, and I am so terribly excited! Trust me when I say this is a safe space for you. It's raw and authentic; ChatGPT had no hand in this, I promise you.
It never really took so much for us to reach milestones as children; we kind of just did. We grew our teeth at the right age, started walking, said our first words. It all came so naturally.
I have always wondered why it wasn't as easy for other areas of my life like my spiritual journey, relationships, or my career.
I just had to set those systems myself because though I was growing physically, it would not guarantee my growth in every other area if I wasn't putting in the work.
Personal development, or like I like to call it, watering myself, always came as a burden until God began to open my eyes to certain things.
This is where I spill the beans…..
When God created us, he pointed out a key element of his character was to CREATE something out of NOTHINGNESS.
It was like flipping the switch, one minute dark and void, and in just a moment, he made the entire world. Some of us find it impossible to get through a book in the same time, but let's be visual; he did a lot of creating in just six days. Of course, he rested on the seventh day!
God desires to create gardens out of dry and barren lands, which is why when he created man he said, “be fruitful and multiply.” In other words, increase, and watch this; he didn't say to add to it; he said to multiply, which means to expand rapidly.
When God said to multiply, he meant to go and take up space. You are expected to make the effort necessary to experience growth; those are its excruciating pains, not giving it the barest minimum.
You are God's seed, and because he thought you worthy to be planted on this earth, it is your responsibility to grow by advancing aggressively so that we are able to carry the God-sized visions that God has for us.
Handpick the areas of your life that need to be worked on and start doing the work; take time out to build your character, skills, and personality.
As Godly seed, we must blossom.
When we water, God showers, and we grow exponentially.
Partner with God on this journey because the areas where it counts, the signs of growth, are not by grey hairs and we cannot afford to leave it to chance.
Let God be your partner in personal development.
